Women's Legal Centre proud to launch Reconciliation Action Plan
On 8 September 2022, Reconciliation Australia approved our first Reconciliation Action Plan.
As a Reflect plan it will guide us in developing the relationships and knowledge that will form the foundation for future plans, and we are excited about the opportunities for growth and learning it provides.
An important priority will be to ensure we are providing an accessible and culturally safe service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their families who live in Canberra and the surrounding region. We also look forward to strengthening our relationships with, growing our understanding of, and demonstrating our respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
Thank you to our RAP Committee members, Alex-Lee Hargy (Chair), Vanessa Graf, Zhenia Kavunenko, Alison Killen, Sarah Milson-Mahy, and Elena Rosenman (CEO).
