Multi-Disciplinary Legal Practice
The Centre is committed to delivering a holistic service that is safe and responsive to the needs of women.
Our lawyers work with a team of social workers and an Aboriginal Case Manager to better support clients to make decisions to resolve their legal problems and improve their experience of the legal system.
Our staff understand structural and cultural barriers, and the impacts of trauma, can make it difficult for clients to engage with services and the legal system.
We offer an accessible service, and can help clients with safety planning, engaging with other services, provide advocacy to support them to access services and entitlements. We can also also provide case management when clients have an ongoing legal matter with the Centre.
