Penelope Davie
Penelope Davie is the Centre’s Client and Community Engagement Manager.
Penelope joined the centre in January 2022 with a focus on strengthening our accountability to our clients and our engagement with Canberra’s community.
Prior to joining the Centre, Penelope worked for the Australian Public Service in areas including organisational governance, human rights and antidiscrimination, and elder abuse policy and programs. She cares about clear communication and using data to help improve services (especially people’s experiences).
Penelope graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Hons) (Creative Writing Production) in 2001. She has been a member of the ACT Disability, Aged and Carer Advocacy Service Board, a long-time union delegate and helped to establish an employee network for people with disability in the Attorney-General’s Department.
