Erin Priestly
Erin Priestly is the Head of Practice of the Sexual Violence Legal Service.
Erin is an experienced criminal lawyer, who joined the Centre, to help establish the Sexual Violence Legal Service at the start of 2024. Since being admitted as a solicitor, Erin has worked exclusively in criminal law, prosecuting sexual violence and family violence offending, as well as working as a defence solicitor.
Erin is passionate about ensuring people who have been subjected to sexual violence are armed with the right information and legal advice so they can make informed decisions that are right for them. She enjoys working directly with clients and advocating for their individual rights.
Erin has been awarded a Bachelor of Laws, with first class honours from the Australian National University. She has also completed a Master of Laws (specialising in Criminal Justice and Criminology) at the University of New South Wales and graduated with Excellence.
