Rachael Jackson
Rachael joined the Board in November 2022. She is an experienced public sector leader with commitment to fostering positive organisational culture, strategy and governance to support staff wellbeing, optimise performance and support real impact.
Rachael is the Chief Operating Officer at the National Indigenous Australians Agency, a role she finds both rewarding and purposeful as she believes we all have a part to play in implementing the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
Rachael is a certified HR practitioner with the Australian Human Resources Institute, is a member of the AHRI Public Sector Advisory Panel. Rachael as held senior executive roles at the departments of Department of Industry, Innovation and Science; Finance; and Attorney-General’s and was the Executive Director Governance at the ACT Justice and Community Safety Directorate. Rachael holds an Executive Master of Public Administration (ANZSOG).
Rachael acknowledges the traditional custodians and elders of lutruwita (Tasmania) where she grew up, and the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people in Canberra where she lives, works and plays.
