Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Clinic

If you have been the victim of an act of violence, a witness to a homicide, or are a family member or partner of a victim of a homicide the ACT Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme may be able to pay for the things you need to help you to recover from the crime.  The scheme offers a number of different types of payments including immediate needs payments, economic loss payments, recognition payments and funeral expense payments.

In partnership with Clayton Utz, we help women who have been injured from a criminal act to make applications to the scheme for financial assistance.

We can help you assess whether you may be eligible for assistance, prepare the application, including sourcing supporting evidence, and case manage your application.
